Our first weekend at WaffleFamily Farm in Hudson, FL was more than just an opening weekend.
After months of planning, building, planting, preparing, decorating, cleaning, organizing, and imagining what this place could become, we finally had the joy of welcoming our very first guests to the farm.
It was the moment when a dream finally became real.
And honestly, we are still smiling.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every family, every child, every parent, every grandparent, every neighbor, every friend, and every animal lover who came to spend time with us. Thank you for choosing to be part of our very first weekend. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your smiles, your photos, your stories, your reviews, and your feedback.

A Place for Every Generation
When we started creating WaffleFamily Farm, our goal was never just to build another local attraction.
Our dream was to create a peaceful, family-friendly farm experience where all generations could enjoy something special together. A place where kids can explore, parents can slow down, grandparents can feel comfortable, and families can make simple, sweet memories outside in nature.
We wanted to build a space that feels cozy, welcoming, and a little magical. A place with animals, trees, fresh air, photo spots, shade, birds singing, and enough room for kids to be kids.
During our first weekend, we saw that dream come to life.
We watched children run around with excitement. We watched families take photos. We watched guests meet our animals, enjoy the shade, laugh together, and spend a slower morning outdoors.
And we think it is safe to say…

Your Feedback Meant Everything to Us
One of the most meaningful parts of our first weekend was hearing what our guests noticed and felt while visiting the farm.
Many of you shared that you loved the atmosphere. You mentioned the shade from the trees, the peaceful feeling, the birds singing, and the cozy energy of the property.
Some of you told us that it felt like you had completely left the city, even though WaffleFamily Farm is right here in Hudson, Florida, near Tampa Bay and Pasco County.
Others described the farm as feeling like a little retreat. A calm, shaded, nature-filled place where families could breathe, relax, and enjoy being together.
That feedback touched us deeply, because this is exactly what we hoped to create.
We wanted WaffleFamily Farm to feel different. Not rushed. Not loud. Not overwhelming. We wanted it to feel like a place where families can slow down, connect, laugh, explore, and enjoy a peaceful outdoor experience with animals and nature.

The Unexpected Star of the Weekend
And of course, we have to talk about Boba.
Without even knowing it, a star was born.
Our cat Boba completely stole the show during our first weekend. Guests loved him, kids followed him, and Boba clearly decided that he had an official job on the farm.
On Saturday, he even walked guests from the parking lot all the way to check-in.
We are not sure who hired him or what salary he is expecting, but he clearly believes he is the new farm manager.
At this point, we may need to add him to the team page.

Our vision is to continue growing into a beautiful family-friendly farm in Hudson, FL where people can come for weekend visits, birthday parties, outdoor kids activities, seasonal events, animal experiences, family photos, and peaceful time in nature.
